Red Sox Notes

Well, I think that there's not much to talk about today except pitching.

Wake, Lester, and Papelbon are all looking good. Everyone's talking about Daisuke and his infamous "is it or isn't it?" gyroball, and Timlin and his fabulous camouflage glove are looking to fill the closer position. Now let's hope we don't get a repeat of last year, where we could plug it up at both ends, but our middle relief busts a big hole in the middle. For example, Brendan Donnelly, who is probably going to end up as a middle reliever, was charged with 4 runs in 2/3 of an inning recently. Good stuff.

Oh yeah, and Curt Schilling has his own blog now. That should be interesting (though it's certainly not surprising).

Papelbon has been nothing short of impressive so far. Lets see if he keeps it going. Hey, he would be a great pick for you in the fantasy draft! Someone to cheer for!
